Kiteboarding
The sport of the future is here! Imagine using wind to power you effortlessly
across the water, then use your kite to catch HUGE air. Now you too can
enjoy the freedom of Kiteboarding. We are now offering introductory Kiteboard
instruction to get you into this sport quickly and avoid many of the beginner
pitfalls and dangers.
Your journey into this exhilarating sport begins with our Trainer Kite
Clinic to develop an understanding for the sport’s fundamentals,
then moves on to our Land-Water Clinic.
We are now offering introductory three hour Kiteboarding Trainer Kite
Clinics. The classes are held at the Goleta Beach in the afternoons starting
at 2:00. In these land based classes you will learn kiteboarding risk
management and kite flying skills necessary to become a proficient kiteboarder.
Santa Barbara has strong consistent wind for half the year which makes
it an ideal place to be a kiteboarder. We are at the end of the prime
kiteboarding season, and will only be offering the Trainer Kite Clinic
this quarter. By taking the class now and practicing your trainer kite
skills through the winter, you will be set up for success and a fast learning
curve in the Spring when the Kiteboarding season resumes.
The class price includes a free trainer kite! (Retail value of $129)
