The College Prep Camp is an advanced skills camp
for high school aged female players who are interested in polishing
their fundamentals for the college level. Many
Division I players and All-Americans have prepared themselves for
success in collegiate competition at this camp.
In addition to four days of top
volleyball training, each camper will receive a t-shirt and a camp
manual. Campers will also be physically tested for jumping ability,
speed and agility.
Special sessions will focus on
how to market yourself to college recruiters (letters, making videos),
as well as academics, off-season training, injury prevention and
nutrition.You will be exposed to the best players, coaches and training
available. Many camp alums have gone on to become high school, club
and NCAA All-Americans.
Camp is for experienced female players aged 14-19.

Coaching Staff
In addition to Kathy
Gregory, the camp features an outstanding staff of successful
college volleyball coaches, as well as elite volleyball players.
With an approximate coach/player ratio of eight to one, each participant
is ensured of receiving high quality, individualized instruction.

Housing & Meals
Campers will stay at Tropicana
Gardens dormitory, located adjacent to the UCSB campus. Campers
are supervised by camp staff as well as the full time staff of the
dormitory. Health conscious and hearty meals are planned by a professional
nutritionist. |
Groups/Teams
Teams are welcome and encouraged to attend
camp together and by doing so can benefit from tuition discounts.
All team members are guaranteed to be placed in the same group in
order to improve as a team and to take advantage of nightly competition.Coaches
may observe all sessions and help coach during evening competitions.
Individual campers will be placed in groups according to ability. |
Medical Care
The University Health Center is professionally
staffed and available in case of injury or illness, as well as the
camp's student athletic trainer. |
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel two weeks or more prior to
the first day of camp, you will receive a refund less your $100
non-refundable deposit. Refunds will not be granted if cancellation
occurs less than two weeks before the start of camp. In cases of
medical and family emergencies, refunds will be handled on a case
by case basis. |
Transportation
Shuttle transportation is available to and
from local airport, bus or train stations on the first and last
days of camp. Please make transportation arrangements at least two
weeks prior to the camp session by writing, faxing or e-mailing
the camp office. There is an additional $5 fee for this service.
Please note that there is a $50 additional surcharge for all "unaccompanied
minors" traveling by air and train. Depending on your carrier,
airlines and Amtrak require us to stay with the minor until their
train or flight depart. The age for this requirment varies by carrier
so you must communicate this need with camp staff before their arrival. |
